Sir Ken Robinson on Education

"how to turn schools of the future into promoters and nourishers of creativity..."

Its not the students with the learning disabilities, its the education system that has a teaching disability..... In my opinion..

Can't Wait For- Dark Was the Night

Stole this from the fellows over at Naturalismo. And as they said, this is probably all over the blogs by now but i havent seen it around yet so i thought id share it with you all. I Enjoy the two tracks below for a nice preview/tease.

"Dark Was The Night will be released on February 17th, 2009. It’s comprised of 31 exclusive tracks and it will be available as a double cd/triple vinyl/download and will benefit the Red Hot Organization – an international charity dedicated to raising money and awareness for HIV and AIDS through popular culture. They are the people responsible for albums including No Alternative, Red Hot and Blue and many more, and this is their 20th year, and this is the 20th release!

Red Hot was founded on the premise that even without a cure, AIDS remains a preventable disease - using music as a great vehicle to raise both money and awareness for it. This is also the twentieth year of Red Hot as well as their twentieth compilation"

Hellllo Mr. President

Inauguration Speech-If you missed it.

The day is finally here. Bush is on his way back to where he spent much of his presidency, on his ranch and Obama has taken the presidential oath and as of 12:00 pm eastern time has become the 44th president of the United States.

Im still not sure if all this has sunk in for me yet. All i know is that im excited and anxious for the future and for once in my life i feel hopeful and confident in what seems to be the direction of our governments agenda.

Today is truly historical. CELEBRATE!
